- Learning Lane, off Curtis Road is CLOSED for construction.
- ALL traffic will enter from the Wynstone Dr & Hallbeck Dr corner.
- Please use EXTRA CAUTION on Wynstone Dr, especially at crosswalks.
- Do NOT Block the entrance/exit of the circle drive in front of Barkstall, as buses will be entering and exiting.
- Hallbeck Dr. will be utilized as three lanes for staff, buses, and families.
- NO PARKING along Hallbeck Dr.
- Stay as close to the curb as possible.
- Car drop off/pick up line needs to ENTER off Curtis onto Wynstone. After turning onto Hallbeck Dr they will drive along the south curb, in the space that would normally be parking spaces.and then turn into the parking lot circle for student pick up (Marked in purple on the map).
- Staff and buses will be driving down the middle of Hallbeck Dr. (Marked in orange & green on the map)
- All exiting traffic will drive on the right side of the road heading northwest. You will have to exit through Cherry Hills Subdivision. (Marked with blue on the map)
Road construction is shutting down the Hallbeck Dr-to-Curtis Rd entrance to Barkstall Elementary (2201 Hallbeck Dr). Access to Barkstall is being rerouted down Wynstone Dr to Hallbeck Dr, through Cherry Hills.
Work could start as soon as tomorrow (Aug 6) and is expected to take 4 to 8 weeks. Construction crews will be tearing out the existing road, installing new pipes, and laying down the new road. Barkstall’s busiest times of day are as follows.
7:45 – 9:00 a.m.
2:30 – 4:00 p.m.
Neighbors are encouraged to avoid the detoured route if you do not live in the affected area but use one of the alternative entrances to Cherry Hills.
